By collaborating with Dr. Shuangbao Wang’s quantum computing lab at MSU and Dr. Qinjun Kang’s Multiphysics modeling lab at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), we aim to implement state of the art quantum computing to the widely used computational fluid dynamics (CFD) based on Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM).

Successful candidates should have a strong background in:
-
High performance computing with GPU,
-
LBM,
-
CFD,
-
Fluid structure interaction.
Other preferable skills include:
-
Large scale parallel computing, both programming and applications,
-
Quantum computing experience,
-
LBM model development experience,
-
Programing in multiple languages,
-
Strong verbal/writing communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team.
