Welcome Qilin Liu to Our Team!
Qilin Liu, Ph.D., joins the Computational Fluid Dynamics lab as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Dr. Liu’s research focuses on the sound source mechanisms of turbulent flows. He recently finished his first postdoctoral project: the short-time motion and noise of coherent structures in high subsonic jet flows. Dr. Liu’s research interests involve computational fluid dynamics (CFD), computational aero-acoustics (CAA), data-driven fluid mechanics, and high-performance computing. His expertise enhances the lab’s research capabilities in fluid structure acoustic modeling. In addition to his research, Dr. Liu enjoys jogging, solving puzzles, and playing bamboo flute.
